Sustainability and Coffee have never really gone hand in hand. 95% of takeaway coffee cups aren’t recyclable (Mainly to the plastic/oil interior lining). The coffee industry as a whole needs to do more.

We currently stock a range of fully compostable, coffee capsules. Produced by Caffesso (based in Norfolk), the whole capsule can be disposed of in your local councils food waste bin, in your garden compost heap or indeed anywhere else you feel is suitable.

We’re also looking at supporting charities and local causes that can help improve our sustainability. But at least for the time being, we’ve limited this to a personally close charity, Prostate Cancer UK. We intend to donate a minimum of 2% of every gross order value (including shipping and before discounts) to Prostate Cancer UK.

Going forwards we will introduce other charities and local causes, voted for by you, the consumer. Watch this space!
